Executive Summary:
Dr. Roland Dominic Jamora graduated Medicine from the University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and received his neurological residency training from the Philippine General Hospital, University of the Philippines Manila (UP-PGH). He received his PhD training from the College of Medicine, UP Manila and worked on X-linked dystonia-parkinsonism (XDP).

Dr. Jamora is now an associate professor at the UP College of Medicine and is the co-head of the Neuroscience Study Group, National Institutes of Health, UP Manila. His work has focused mainly on XDP as well as other movement disorders and general neurology topics.

He was a past president of the Movement Disorder Society of the Philippines. He is currently the secretary of the MDS-AOS and is an active member of many committees of the MDS. He is also a Board Member of the Asian Pacific Society for Transcranial Focused Ultrasound Surgery (APFUS).
