Executive Summary：
Dr. Chan Hiu Fai, Germaine graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong. She completed her internal medicine and neurology training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Subsequently, she finished her movement disorders fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada, under Professor Susan Fox, Elena Moro and Tony Lang.
Since 2024, she has worked as a Consultant of the Department of Medicine of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She is also an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong and an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She was the Past President of the Hong Kong Movement Disorders Society. At present, she is the Vice President of the Hong Kong Brain Foundation. She also serves in the Executive Committee of the Asian & Oceanian Section of the International Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Society (MDS AOS). Her major interests are movement disorders and neuromodulation.
