Executive Summary:
Dr. Sheg-Huang Lin is an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine at Tzu Chi University, Taiwan. He is also the Deputy Director of the Neuro-Medical Scientific Center at Buddhist Tzu-Chi General Hospital, Hualien, Taiwan. For more than two decades as a neurologist, he dedicated himself to patient care, especially Parkinson's disease, movement disorders, deep brain stimulation and clinical neurophysiology. His research focuses on deep brain stimulation animal models with different targets, stimulation patterns and diseases. His research also applied mobile devices to detect patient activity, blood pressure, and sleep to assess PD patients' motor and non-motor symptoms and the effects of interventions. He published more than 40 peer-review articles in scientific journals/book chapters. These have made him a recognized specialist in movement disorders and neuromodulation.
