Executive Summary：
Dr. Ying-Fa Chen is an attending neurologist and Director of the Center for Parkinson’s Disease at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He also serves as a Director of the Taiwan Movement Disorder Society. He completed his residency training in neurology at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests focus on the management of movement disorders, particularly ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and deep brain stimulation (DBS). He has been involved in DBS treatment for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders since 2008. Since September 2024, he has also served as Director General of the Kaohsiung City Smart-Action Growth Association in Taiwan, where he is dedicated to promoting patient self-care, physical activity, and psychosocial support for patients and their families. In addition to his clinical and community service, he is interested in developing digital applications for Parkinson’s disease to improve patient care and facilitate communication between patients and healthcare professionals.
