Executive Summary:
Dr. Yen-Chung Chen received his M.D. from Kaohsiung Medical University and obtained his Ph.D. in Public Health from Chung Shan Medical University in 2024. He is currently an Attending Physician in the Department of Neurology at China Medical University Hospital and the Taichung Municipal Geriatric Rehabilitation General Hospital. Additionally, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology, School of Medicine, China Medical University and Graduate Institute of Statistics and Information Science, National Changhua University of Education.
Prior to his current appointments, Dr. Chen served as an Attending Physician and the Executive Director of the Centre for Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders at Changhua Christian Hospital, where he completed his neurology residency and movement disorder fellowship.
Dr. Chen is an active leader in the neurological community. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Taiwan NeuroImmunology Medical Society and is a member of the Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) Motor Subcommittee of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS). His clinical expertise and research interests encompass clinical neurological immunology, movement disorders and epigenetics analysis utilizing biobanks.
