Executive Summary:
With the research interest in electrophysiology and neuropharmacology, professor Kuo has been working on the molecular behavior of different ion channels, and the mechanisms underlying deep brain stimulation therapy for movement disorders as well as epileptic seizures based on in vitro/in vivo recordings and behavioral studies. He has also dedicated to elucidate the actions of anticonvulsants, aiming for a more sophisticated and successful management of patients with epilepsy.
